Queen Elizabeth Tribute sampler

Description

The Queen Elizabeth Tribute Sampler –
Following the State funeral for our late Queen, we are proud to produce this sampler to celebrate her long reign.
Her Majesty reigned for 70 years and 214 days, and this fact is included in the border.

This sampler has the flowers of the four countries of United Kingdom.
The flowers are based upon the diamond brooches that were presented to the Queen on her Diamond Jubilee, by the Sultan of Oman.
Sparkling metallic thread is used to add vibrancy in the gemstones.

The sampler also shows the St Edward crown which is only used for a Coronation.
The text reads:-
“Queen Elizabeth II, longest serving Monarch of United Kingdom & Northern Ireland & Head of the Commonwealth 1952 -2022”

further down it quotes her Majesty upon her succession the the throne
“throughout all my life and with all my heart I shall strive yo remain devoted to your service”.
As a little bit of fun there is nod to the delightful sketch that the Queen made with Paddington Bear on her Platinum Jubilee – this is in the form of a handbag with a marmalade sandich – ‘for later’.
There is also a chipper corgi !

It will be easy to obtain a frame for the stitched sampler because it fits a standard 10″ x 12″ frame.

This sampler contains special threads that are not available commercially, and so it is not available as a chart.
