Perle cotton thread is soft and silky and does not fluff or kink, it is the ideal thread for both crochet and embroidery work which requires a raised effect.
The thread is mercerised and twisted; it is not divisible, lustrous 100% cotton thread.
Compared to the stranded cottons the thread keeps its rounded shape and stands out well on the fabric when stitched
